Had some time to sort out some old photo files. Here’s some pics of a toilet at Schipol airport in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. A nice, clean and pleasant toilet, I must say…
…compared to some horrendous shit-holes back in Indonesia. Even at international airports.
A friend once told of a toilet at a bus terminal with THREE… I repeat: THREE sticks of human shit protruding from a shit-hole that was obviously never flushed!
We couldn’t figure out how it happened: either three people shat there together all at once, or repeatedly one-by-one with no one even bothering to flush it.
And that’s in a country where there’s a popular saying that “cleanliness is part of one’s faith (kebersihan adalah sebagian dari iman)”. Well, in a country that’s all-preaching-and-slogans-but-no-do, good luck with that…
The last pic is… fortunately (or unfortunately) a photo of an interesting vending machine in the toilet that was useless due to my lack of proper visa clearance to head into town :p Well, I was short of euros anyway… :p

kalo di jakarta vending machine-nya msti dijagain sm mas2 tuh…trus pas mau beli ditanya surat nikah dulu, kalo ga punya bakal diceramahin pjg lebar dan lamaaa…aaargh mnding brsihin toilet aja lah lo, mas :p
:)) trus di pintu keluar toilet-nya ada some freaky psycho yang ngehalang2in pintu pas kita mau keluar… gak tau mau malak, apa emang sukaaa… ;))
