Summer berries!

I was taking a stroll in some nice sunny weather the other day, when what do you know…
Summer berries!
Blueberries, I think they are. Just hangin’ there from a shrub, over a stonewall fence, over the sidewalk.
I was of course tempted to pick and taste them, but not sure if that was appropriate, so I just stole some shots of them :p
But I don’t think they’re too good –the pics, I mean. Please do bear with my cameraphone again.
The next pic is a closer shot of the blueberries… just a bit closer, and in no way any better :p
And here are some more berries that I saw along the way… but I don’t know exactly what kind of berries they are…
Anyway, it was nice to see some berries in the sun. They kinda made my summer, at least for that day… after a disappointing mostly-cloudy-and-rainy July :(
If last Monday hadn’t rained, we could’ve had an almost week-long streak of sunshine from last week’s Thursday to this week’s Tuesday… a late summer in early August :p …but then we all know how the British weather is: it’s back to cloud and rains again now… :(
