April Fool’s Day round-up

As always each year, browsing the Web on April 1st requires extra caution, lest we fall for any online pranks laid out that day…
Here are some that I came across this year:
- Google Mail’s Auto-Reply
- YouTube upside down
- Pirate Bay gets acquired by Warner Bros
- The Guardian goes fully Twitter-mode

Disappointingly, none of them were as funny as Slashdot‘s 2006 April Fool’s Day joke: changing their site to pink and their well-known motto to “OMG! Ponies!”, in a (supposedly) effort to widen their audience base from predominantly male geeks… :p
